Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking an enthusiastic Store Associate to assist customers, operate the point-of-sale system, and help keep the store well-stocked and welcoming.

You will help shoppers find products, enroll customers in rewards programs, and participate in omni-channel processes such as BOPIS and SFS. This role requires standing for long periods and physical activity during shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Educate customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Stocking, truck unloading and maintaining store appearance to ensure in-stock conditions.
