Job summary

Caribou Coffee located in Virginia, Minnesota, is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee daily store operations with the General Manager or Assistant General Manager. You will set goals, guide the shift, maintain standards, and ensure strong guest connections throughout the shift.

You will coach team members, manage duties, and uphold SOPs while contributing to a positive, engaging store environment and community presence.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of leadership, restaurant, retail or customer service experience required, or properly trained and approved by Caribou Coffee to take responsibility as a Shift Leader
• Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts that engage the team and ensure guest satisfaction with a focus on Make Fun Happen
• Ensure SOPs and quality standards are executed consistently
• Coach and develop Team Members on role responsibilities, product knowledge and promotions and train on duties
• Perform administrative tasks (e.g., bank deposits, inventory, product orders) with integrity and completion
• Maintain a calm, responsive leadership presence during critical moments and handle shifting priorities
