Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Shift Lead to direct daily activities of store team members in the absence of store leadership. You will open and close the store, protect property and funds, monitor performance, and uphold health, safety and sanitation standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Under the guidance of Store Managers, you will supervise full-time and part-time staff across departments, handle cash responsibilities, resolve customer issues, and assist with inventory,

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience a plus.
• Ability to travel to multiple work locations.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store according to established procedures.
• Direct and monitor day-to-day activities of store team members.
• Communicate with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Resolve customer complaints, including exchanges and refunds.
• Document complaints and take follow-up steps to correct the source of the complaint.
• Perform cashier and stocking duties when necessary.
• Escalates employee issues to Store Manager or District Manager.
• Protect company property, funds and merchandise.
• Ensure loss prevention procedures are followed daily.
• Handle emergency management as needed.
• Serve as first contact for media and regulatory visitors.
• May participate in the panel interviewing process, but does not have authority to make hiring decisions.
• Performs other duties, including working in other departments, as assigned
