Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Shift Lead to direct daily store operations in the absence of Store Managers. You will open/close the store, supervise team members, handle cash, and ensure customer service excellence.

The role emphasizes compliance with health and safety standards, loss prevention, and department collaboration. Prior supervisory experience is a plus, and English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work flexible shifts.
• Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math proficiency and cash handling experience preferred.
• Willingness to train and mentor team members.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store according to procedures.
• Direct daily activities of full-time/part-time team members.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Manage cash handling, till preparation, and gift card sales.
• Complete electronic store reports and escalate issues to management.
• Perform cashier and stocking duties as needed.
• Ensure health, safety, and loss prevention standards.
• Collaborate with management on hiring and department duties.
