Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Shift Lead to direct daily store operations during assigned shifts and to support the Store Manager in maintaining service and standards. You will supervise full-time and part-time staff, handle cash and till procedures, and ensure health, safety, and loss prevention protocols are followed.

Strong communication and reliability are essential. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, and the ability to travel between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have some supervisory or lead experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and reporting.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Open/close store per procedures and supervise team during shifts.
• Direct daily activities of full-time/part-time staff across departments.
• Handle customer issues, exchanges, and refunds with courtesy.
• Perform cash handling, till prep, and gift card sales/returns.
• Maintain store health, safety, sanitation, and loss prevention standards.
• Escalate personnel issues to Store Manager or District Manager.
• Assist with stocking, inventory, and cross-department tasks.
• Communicate with customers and vendors; support panel interviews if needed.
