Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Shift Lead to direct daily store activities in the absence of the Store Manager. You will open/close the store, supervise team members, handle cash and inventory, and ensure excellent customer service.

You will escalate issues to management and support various departments as needed. The role requires 18+ years, a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in basic math required for cash handling.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Spanish or other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store according to procedures.
• Direct day-to-day activities of store team members.
• Provide friendly, courteous customer service.
• Resolve customer complaints including exchanges/refunds.
• Document complaints and follow up to fix root causes.
• Perform cashier and stocking duties when needed.
• Complete electronic store reports and communicate results to management.
• Escalate disciplinary or cash-discrepancy issues as needed.
• Assist with vendor receipts and deliveries.
• Maintain health and safety compliance and store sanitation.
• Contribute to loss prevention and asset protection.
