Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Shift Lead to direct daily store operations in the absence of Store Managers. You will open/close the store, supervise team members, handle customer service issues, and ensure loss prevention and safety protocols are followed. You may participate in interviewing and supporting other departments as needed.

Applicants should be 18+, have a high school diploma, and possess strong communication and math skills. Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience supervising a team is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Attendance, safety, and policy compliance are important for performance management.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Open and close store according to procedures.
• Directs daily activities of store team members.
• Handle customer refunds, exchanges and complaints.
• Perform cashier and stocking duties as needed.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
• Protect store property and funds; follow loss prevention procedures.
• Respond to vendors and manage deliveries.
• Support interviewing and hiring processes where applicable.
