Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a responsible Retail Key Holder to open and close the store when management is not available, perform required systems start-ups, handle cash, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. You will also assist with opening the back door for deliveries and maintain store security during shift transitions.

In this role you will engage customers, process returns, refunds, and price changes, and maintain accurate inventory counts.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change to cash registers.
• Engage customers and deliver a distinctive Walgreens customer experience.
• Model customer service best practices with team members, including greeting and proactive assistance.
• Assist with opening the back door for vendor deliveries and maintain store security during shifts.
• Register all related sales on assigned cash register, track pricing, voids, and scanning errors.
