Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate capable of opening and closing the store when management is not present, handling cash, and ensuring front- and back-room readiness for the business day. You will assist with deliveries and maintain store security by opening the back door as needed.

You will engage customers, process returns and refunds, and help maintain accurate pricing, inventory, and displays while upholding Walgreens service standards to create a positive, delightful shopping

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Preferred knowledge of store inventory control.
• Arrests/convictions may be considered per policy.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, including cash handling and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the day.
• Process returns, void orders, refunds, and cash drops; provide change to cash registers.
• Engage customers and patients to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience and resolve issues.
