Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Greater Chattanooga Area is seeking a Shift Lead to supervise store personnel, coach associates, and deliver exceptional customer service to donors and shoppers. The role requires maintaining store standards, assisting customers, and ensuring safety and policy adherence throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED preferred.
• Prior retail experience or customer service experience preferred.
• 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Reliable transportation and communication required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store personnel during assigned shift to ensure operational standards.
• Develop, train, coach, and support store associates for career growth within the organization.
• Greet, assist and provide excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Maintain overall store appearance and housekeeping to agency standards.
• Attend and participate in meetings and training as required by the agency.
• Review and adhere to safety policies, procedures, and reporting of unsafe conditions.
