Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Greater Chattanooga Area is seeking a Shift Lead for the TNHixson Store in Hixson, TN 37343. The role supports daily store operations, supervises team members on shift, and ensures excellent customer service.

You will develop staff, train associates, maintain store appearance, assist with donations and sales, and follow safety policies. A high school degree, retail or customer service experience, and 6 months supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED preferred.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; bilingual a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Reliable transportation and availability during business hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store personnel during the assigned shift to ensure operational standards.
• Develop, train, and coach associates for career growth within the organization.
• Greet, assist, and provide excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Maintain store appearance and housekeeping to agency standards.
• Assist and resolve complaints and communicate issues to management.
• Maintain proficiency for tasks required in all workstations.
• Attend meetings and training as required by the agency.
