Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Greater Chattanooga Area is seeking a Shift Lead for the Dalton, GA store to support the mission, supervise staff, and ensure excellent customer service. You will train and coach associates, maintain store standards, and coordinate daily operations with the management team.

The role requires strong English communication, reliability, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

High School degree or GED preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Ability to work with diverse customers and maintain professionalism.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and store systems.
Reliable transportation and availability for varied hours, including holidays.

Responsibilities

Supervise store personnel during assigned shift to ensure standards are met.
Develop, coach, and support associates for career growth within the organization.
Greet and assist donors and customers with excellent service.
Handle complaints and communicate issues to management.
Maintain store appearance and housekeeping to agency standards.
Adhere to safety policies and participate in training as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
