Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Greater Chattanooga Area is seeking a Shift Lead to supervise store personnel, train associates, and ensure customer service excellence. You will uphold SOPs, safety policies, and maintain store appearance while supporting the mission of the organization.

Ideal candidates have High School diploma, retail or customer service experience, at least 6 months supervisory experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• Prior retail experience or customer service experience preferred.
• 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English; bilingual a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to adapt to growth and a changing environment within the Agency.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work varied hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store personnel during assigned shift to ensure standards are met.
• Develop, train, and coach store associates for career growth.
• Comply with SOPs and safety policies and procedures.
• Greet, assist, and provide excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• Resolve complaints and communicate issues to management.
• Maintain store appearance and housekeeping to agency standards.
• Maintain company records and reports accurately and timely.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
