Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Operations Associate to help open and close the store in the absence of management, manage cash handling, refunds, and daily ledger entries. You will support sales processing, pricing, and back-of-house tasks to ensure smooth operations and service excellence.

You will engage customers, assist with product inquiries, and model Walgreens service traits to deliver a delightful experience.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including required system start-ups and cash handling.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change at registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Oversees store operations, including opening back door for deliveries and ensuring accurate pricing and signage.
• Registers sales, handles price verifications and voids, and assists with bookkeeping activities and cash controls.
• Maintains inventory accuracy, supports merchandising and displays, and assists with vendor deliveries and returns.
