Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate to support opening and closing the store in the absence of management, perform cash handling, and ensure shelves and stockrooms are ready for business. You will assist customers, process returns, and help with inventory and pricing tasks.

You will engage customers with a friendly service approach, resolve issues, and model Walgreens service traits, while following store policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management and handles required cash, start-ups, and deliveries.
• Receives and handles returns, refunds, cash drops, and provides change for registers.
• Delivers a distinctive customer experience and assists customers on products and services.
• Engages customers, greets them, resolves issues, and shares service best practices.
• Maintains store key control, assists with vendor deliveries, and reviews order exceptions for releases.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and proper pricing/signage to support local regulations.
