Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Associate to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle essential cash procedures, and ensure floors and stockrooms are ready for the day. You may also open the back door for deliveries.

You will engage customers, process returns and refunds, manage cash drops and pricing, assist with displays, and help keep the store clean and welcoming for shoppers.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management and ensures cash handling is properly performed.
• Completes product returns, refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change to cash registers.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, delivering a positive experience.
