Job summary

Walgreens in New York is seeking a capable shift lead to step in when management is absent, open/close, handle cash, and prepare the floor and stock room for the business day. You will support vendor deliveries and ensure pricing accuracy while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and ensuring readiness for the business day.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provides change to registers.
• Engages customers to deliver a distinctive Walgreens customer experience.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and supports pricing, displays, and backroom organization.
• Assists with the pharmacy out window as requested and ensures compliance with regulated products laws.
