Job summary

Walgreens in New York is seeking a Customer Experience and Operations associate to open/close the store in the absence of management, handle cash and pricing tasks, and ensure a safe, inviting shopping environment. You will engage customers, resolve issues, and support vendor deliveries as needed.

Responsibilities include assisting with inventory, displays, and basic bookkeeping, while maintaining compliance with store policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, handling cash and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
• Completes cash handling tasks including returns, refunds, cash drops, and providing change.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers by greeting them and assisting with products and services, resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Keeps store keys, opens/closes without management as necessary, and assists with vendor deliveries and backdoor access.
