Job summary

Walgreens in San Juan, Puerto Rico seeks a flexible team member to support daily store operations. You will open and close the store when management is absent, handle cash and register accuracy, and ensure merchandise is ready for customers.

You will actively engage customers, resolve issues, assist with inventory, pricing, displays, and backroom organization, and help with vendor deliveries and basic bookkeeping. Teamwork and policy adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and start-ups.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and cash drops.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Maintains accurate inventory counts and ensures proper pricing and signage.
• Assists with vendor deliveries, displays, and backroom organization.
• Performs basic bookkeeping activities and manages cash counts and ledgers.
• Supports store operations at the pharmacy out window as requested.
• Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Represents Walgreens professionally and adheres to company policies.
