Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a capable team member to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash, and ensure readiness for the business day. You will support vendor deliveries, pricing, and merchandising to maintain a smooth operation.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, maintain accurate inventory, and help keep the store clean and organized while complying with policies and local regulations.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management, start-up routines, and cash handling.
• Process returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provide change as requested.
• Engage customers to deliver a distinctive and delightful experience.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and backdoor access for deliveries.
• Register all sales accurately and manage pricing, signage, and local compliance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and stock placement across departments.
• Support with merchandising, displays, and inventory resets as needed.
• Follow store policies, communicate tasks, and supervise team when needed.
