Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a capable team member to operate store functions when management is not present, handle cash tasks, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for business. You will engage customers, support with vendor deliveries, and help maintain pricing and inventory accuracy.

The role involves friendly customer interactions, teamwork, and adherence to policies while contributing to a safe, clean store environment and efficient daily operations.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of management and perform required systems start-ups and cash handling.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested.
• Engage customers and patients to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assist with vendor deliveries and backdoor access as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure proper pricing and signage.
• Support with bookkeeping activities and basic store maintenance when required.
