Job summary

Walgreens in New York, NY seeks a Customer Experience/Operations Associate. You will open and close the store when management is not present, handle cash and transactions, and ensure the floor and stock room are ready for the day.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, maintain inventory, pricing displays, and assist in merchandising and store upkeep while upholding store policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management, handles start-ups and cash, and ensures floor and stock room readiness.
• Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provides cash changes at registers.
• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engages customers and assists with products and services; resolves issues for a positive experience.
• Maintains inventory accuracy, pricing, displays, and store cleanliness.
• Coaches team members and communicates tasks when management is absent.
• Ensures compliance with state laws on regulated products and bag checks.
