Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store associate to support daily operations in the absence of management, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and customer service. You will ensure shelves and back stock are ready for business and assist with vendor deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management and handles required cash handling.
• Completes product returns, refunds, and cash drops to the safe; provides change to cash registers.
• Engages customers and patients to deliver a distinctive customer experience and assist with products and services.
• Maintains store operations including inventory accuracy, pricing, displays, and back-room readiness.
• Attends training and communicates tasks between management and team members when leadership is absent.
