Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may involve shift management when managers are absent, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Essential duties include leading team members in service excellence, handling store operations, processing orders, and ensuring accurate invoicing.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service focus.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately and efficiently.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before shipment.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Adhere to posted schedule and clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and secure deposits and building.
