Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom including execution of customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently, using the electronic ledger.
• Ensure retail returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and refunds issued correctly.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Monitor adherence to posted work schedules; verify clock-ins/outs and security.
• Perform all store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, money handling, deposits, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
