Job summary

Total Wine & More in California seeks a Supervisor to support store operations, foster a sales and service culture, and lead a team in delivering best-in-class service for adult beverages and more.

You will supervise, train, and coach staff, resolve customer issues, and ensure legal compliance while maintaining safety and a welcoming store atmosphere. This role reports to store management and requires flexibility for evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience; 1+ year in supervisor role.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team player mindset.
• Experience resolving customer issues and coaching peers.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support service team, merchandising and front-end operations.
• Drive sales and deliver key performance metrics.
• Lead by example to provide outstanding customer service.
• Supervise and train team members on product knowledge and sales skills.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol sale laws and safety standards.
• Maintain store safety and cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
