Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, service, appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of managers.

Qualifications

• Required: Strong communication skills
• Required: Ability to obtain RSS Certification
• Desired: Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Desired: Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• Desired: ASE Certification
• Desired: Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure program execution (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process and stage retail returns and exchanges with correct refunds and methods.
• Invoicing of all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Adhere to posted work schedules; manage deviations with management; clock in/out as required.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, secure deposits and building, and manage security checks.
