Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management when managers are away.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to engage customers effectively.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification is preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner.
• Handle returns and exchanges, issue refunds correctly, and stage returned merchandise.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Delegate merchandising tasks and communicate Zipline messages.
• Ensure staff clock in/out according to policy and follow posted schedule.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, secure money and deposits.
• Other duties as assigned.
