Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This position will assume shift management in the absence of managers, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

The role emphasizes leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service, handling store duties, and ensuring accurate transactions and timely communications with customers.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
• Retail sales experience preferred, especially in auto parts.
• Automotive systems knowledge is a plus.
• ASE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels and execute service programs.
• Ensure phones are answered per policy and orders are processed in a timely manner.
• Manage day-to-day store operations during shifts in absence of store leadership.
• Oversee returns, exchanges, invoicing, and proper handling of merchandise.
