Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and assistant managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management in the absence of leadership and is open to bilingual candidates.

You will lead the team in delivering excellent service to retail and professional customers, manage showroom customer service, and ensure orders and transfers are handled efficiently.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification
• Retail sales experience preferred
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge helpful
• ASE Certification a plus
• Spanish language ability is highly desired

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and execute service programs.
• Answer phones according to company policy and process orders promptly.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub transfers and DC add orders; inform customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the outside purchase ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds with correct payment methods.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and coordinate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff follow posted schedules and accurate clock-in/out; perform opening/closing duties and daily cash procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
