Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager of Sales and Service to lead the store team and model world‑class service. You will help the management team reach goals while maintaining a customer‑centric store atmosphere.

You will ensure floor staffing, coach on product knowledge and selling skills, and reinforce service principles to exceed sales goals. This role supports Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn brands with a People‑First approach, develops teams, and fosters customer loyalty

Responsibilities

• Leads the store team to create an exceptional experience for customers and exceed sales goals.
• Ensure the sales floor is adequately staffed while serving as a role model for sales associates in sales generation and service.
• Coach staff on successes and challenges to reinforce customer service principles.
• Educate the team on product, selling skills and business goals using training resources.
• Create a positive environment where associates are treated with dignity per People-First Philosophy.
• Resolve client service issues including delivery/pick-up using client information reporting systems.
