Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager of Sales and Service to support the store management team in achieving goals by delivering world-class service. You will model customer-first leadership and maintain presence on the sales floor to ensure appropriate staffing and coverage.

In this role you will coach staff on product knowledge, selling skills, and service standards, while upholding our People-First philosophy and solving client issues related to delivery or pickup.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Strong critical thinking to identify challenges and plan actions.
• Strong time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• 2–3 years of retail sales or customer-service management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team to create an exceptional customer experience and exceed sales goals.
• Ensure adequate staffing on the sales floor and model best practices for sales and service.
• Coach staff to reinforce customer service principles and address challenges.
• Use Selling Essentials and training resources to educate the team on products and selling skills.
• Create a positive environment where associates are treated fairly per People-First Philosophy.
• Resolve client service issues including delivery/pick-up and reporting through client information systems.
