Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist in Utah to support Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in their absence.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The position requires leading the team in delivering excellent service to retail and professional customers, managing phone and in-store processes, and ensuring orders and returns are handled efficiently.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience and automotive knowledge are desirable.
• ASE Certification and multilingual abilities (Spanish) are optional advantages.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and ensure adherence to service programs.
• Ensure telephone calls are answered promptly per policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub, and inter-store transfers, and inform customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process and stage returns, issue refunds accurately, and manage returns area.
• Invoice merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff follow posted schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties including cash handling, deposits, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
