Job summary

The Michaels Stores in Superior, CO is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture, drive sales and deliver excellent customer experiences. You will oversee front-end operations, coach teams on selling behaviors, and ensure SOPs and company programs are executed with integrity.

This role requires 3+ years of retail leadership experience, strong customer focus, and the ability to manage POS/Self-Checkout operations, as well as omni-channel services like BOPIS and Same Day

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience guiding front-end and service operations.
• Ability to coach Customer Experience and selling behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Lead front-end and service operations to meet KPIs.
• Coach team on Customer Experience and ART of Selling.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and floor leadership.
• Oversee POS, Self-Checkout, and omni-channel services (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
• Oversee in-store programs and events (Balloons, Knit & Sew Shop).
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Support Asset Protection and shrink reduction.
