Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is hiring a Store Operations Associate to manage stores within your district. This role blends customer service excellence with routine maintenance and leasing responsibilities, including unit showings, rent collections, and POS transactions.

You’ll balance interacting with customers and performing daily tasks, while maintaining clean facilities and a safe, welcoming environment for customers and teammates alike.

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse customer base.
• Self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• Ability to work Saturdays (and Sundays in some locations).
• Access to a personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing solutions while delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Interact face to face with customers, provide excellent service, and build rapport.
• Meet monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walk the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Rent units, sell store merchandise, manage leasing, and process payments using the POS system.
• Maintain the facility with cleaning and upkeep of units, store grounds, and office space.
• Ensure a clean and safe storage facility meeting company guidelines.
