Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage and maintain stores within your district. You will develop customer relationships, rental activities, and basic maintenance, with daytime hours and potential Sunday off.

You will contribute to meeting monthly sales goals, handling leasing, payments, and deposits while keeping the property clean and safe. The role emphasizes service, teamwork, and a positive, proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high quality customer service to a diverse customer market.
• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb or balance on a ladder.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our Point-of-Sale System (POS), completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of the facility, including mopping, light bulb changes, and restrooms.
