Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage day-to-day store tasks within your district, combining customer service excellence with reliable property maintenance.

You will interact face-to-face with customers, drive leasing and payments, perform daily checks, and keep facilities clean and safe while meeting monthly goals. This role emphasizes teamwork, ownership, and consistent weekend availability.

Qualifications

• A self-driven mindset with strong operational focus.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Some locations may require Sunday hours.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS, completing daily deposits, and making courtesy calls about late payments.
• Physical requirements include daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and the store grounds, opening/closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs).
• Maintaining the facility including mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning units, and keeping areas neat.
• Keeping a clean and safe storage facility meeting company guidelines.
