The Michaels Companies Inc. in Lutz, FL is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, drive sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience.

This role oversees front-end and service operations, ensuring consistent execution of selling behaviors, brand standards, and operational expectations. You will coach and develop the team, provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, and ensure effective use of POS and Self-Checkout.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Lead adherence to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions.
• Oversee Loyalty Rewards Program promotion to drive retention and visits.
• Drive sales and omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Support events and activities across departments, including Knit & Sew Shop.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
