Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager in Tampa-BRANDON, FL to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store and deliver strong sales and a superior customer experience. You will coach teams, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure policy compliance while driving omni-channel services such as BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.

You will oversee front-end operations, loyalty enrollment, and in-store programs, including the Balloons and Knit & Sew Shop; experience in retail leadership and ability

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Strong coaching and customer-service focus to drive selling behaviors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and operational continuity.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions and support.
• Oversee in-store programs and events (e.g., Balloons, parties).
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention and repeat visits.
• Drive sales and omni-channel service including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Support Custom Framing operations and coordination with frame shop.
