Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager at the Albany-Latham, NY store to lead a high-performing selling culture, drive sales and deliver an engaging customer experience across front-end and service operations.

Responsibilities include coaching, SOP adherence, POS accuracy, and managing events like Balloons and in-store programs while promoting loyalty and protection plans. Expect night/weekend shifts and strong omni-channel execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience
• Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity.
• Oversee Balloons business, birthday party operations, and other in-store programs and events.
