Job summary

Michaels in Webster, NY is seeking a Sales Manager to lead front-end and service operations, uphold brand standards, and drive key sales and service KPIs through coaching and accountable leadership.

You will coach teams across departments, manage day-to-day execution, and support store-wide programs including POS, BOPIS, and loyalty enrollment while ensuring a safe, customer-focused shopping environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations.
• Experience coaching teams and driving KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards; hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions.
• Oversee in-store programs such as Balloons, birthday parties, and loyalty enrollment.
• Drive omni-channel execution including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team members across assigned departments.
• Support Asset Protection practices and shrink reduction.
