Michaels Stores in Salisbury, NC seeks a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, driving strong sales and an engaging customer experience.

You will coach the team, manage front-end and service operations, execute SOPs, and run omni-channel initiatives including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery. Equal opportunity employer and team member development are core priorities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance and store standards.
• Model and coach customer experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions.
• Oversee in-store programs (Balloons, parties) and Loyalty Rewards enrollment.
• Drive sales and omni-channel service, including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
