Job summary

Michaels Stores in Greensboro, NC seeks a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture, drive sales, and elevate customer experiences. You will guide front-end/service operations, coach teams, and ensure adherence to brand standards and SOPs across the store.

You will provide MOD coverage, manage POS systems, oversee in-store programs, loyalty enrollment, and omni-channel services, while driving operational excellence and protecting assets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Strong customer-focused coaching and leadership skills.
• Experience managing front-end and service operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and champion a high-performing selling culture to drive sales and customer experience.
• Coach and develop team members through structured onboarding and ongoing training.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations and ensure smooth transactions.
• Drive omni-channel initiatives (BOPIS / Same Day Delivery) and loyalty program participation.
• Manage MCC/Extend services and Knit & Sew Shop operations as applicable.
