Job summary

Michaels Store is seeking a Sales Manager for the Store at Pitt-Waterfront, PA. This role leads a high-performing selling culture, oversees front-end/service operations, and coaches teams to achieve sales and service KPIs through strong leadership and customer focus.

The Sales Manager drives omni-channel execution, supports loyalty programs, and ensures adherence to SOPs while delivering an engaging customer experience. Night, weekend, and early morning shifts are typical.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion a high-performing selling culture across the store.
• Oversee front-end and service operations to ensure brand standards and operational expectations.
• Coach and develop team members through structured onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems and support smooth transactions.
• Drive sales and operational excellence in the Knit & Sew Shop and related departments.
