Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager at LA-MIRA LOMA, CA to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store and drive customer experience and sales results.

You will oversee front-end and service operations, ensure brand standards, and coach teams to execute SOPs and loyalty programs. Responsibilities include MOD coverage, POS and Self-Checkout mastery, omni-channel fulfillment (BOPIS and Same Day Delivery), and events such as Balloons and Knit & Sew Shop.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
• Ensure adherence to policies, store conditions and results.
• Coach Customer Experience and selling behaviors to boost conversions.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations to support transactions.
• Oversee events and programs like Balloons and Knit & Sew Shop.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards and drive customer retention.
• Drive omni-channel service with BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and skill-building.
• Maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
