Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Colorado to direct all store operations, develop the leadership team, and drive sales while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will manage a team of roughly ten department managers and receivers, sustain excellent customer service, and uphold company programs across perishable and non-perishable areas. Role emphasizes strong leadership, operational discipline, and daily problem solving to maintain inventory

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business management, marketing, retailing, communications or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated success leading both perishable and non-perishable department operations with P&L, safety, staffing, and merchandising.
• Professional communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, bookkeeping/accounting, time and attendance and HR software.
• Flexible to work a schedule that changes based on business needs, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Food Safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct all business processes at the assigned Sprouts store to drive sales and efficiency.
• Lead a team of about ten department managers and receivers with integrity and care.
• Inspire and motivate the store team to deliver superior customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage inventory, labor, expenses, and shrink to meet P&L targets and store objectives.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, labeling and weights and measures standards are met across all departments.
• Oversee scheduling, training, and development of store leadership and backroom operations.
• Communicate policy changes, new initiatives and product knowledge to the team.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
