Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store operations, drive sales, and lead a team of department managers and receivers. You will model Sprouts values, ensure safety and food standards, and maintain a customer-focused environment in a fast-paced store.

In this role you will manage inventory, labor, and expenses to meet targets, coach leaders, and help build displays while maintaining accurate pricing and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business-related field preferred.
• Retail leadership experience in perishable/non-perishable departments desired.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Model Sprouts values and shape store culture for a positive team environment.
• Develop the store leadership team to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Lead a team of approximately ten Department Managers and Receivers with respect and integrity.
• Champion safety, compliance, and loss prevention across the store.
• Oversee inventory management, pricing, and merchandising to drive sales.
• Provide constructive feedback and coaching to leadership and staff.
• Ensure customer service excellence and effective execution of programs.
• Coordinate with store support areas and respond to emergencies with urgency.
