Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store processes, lead a team of about ten, and drive sales while maintaining safety and compliance.

You will mentor Department Managers and Receivers, ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced, friendly environment. The role emphasizes shopping experience, product knowledge, and adherence to company standards across perishable and non-perishable departments, with a focus on inventory control and leadership

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience; or a combination of education and experience.
• Lead non-perishable and perishable department operations with integrity including P&L, safety, staffing, training, and performance reviews.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software; strong communication and analytical skills.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays; Food Safety certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct all business processes at the assigned Sprouts store and drive sales and efficiency.
• Lead a team of approximately ten people including Department Managers and Receivers.
• Develop leadership, motivate staff, and ensure superior customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain compliance with safety, labeling, health, and weights and measures standards.
• Oversee inventory, payroll, and expenses to meet targets and optimize store performance.
• Address emergencies, training needs, and performance issues with sound judgment.
• Ensure accurate pricing, signage, and adherence to company programs.
