Michaels Columbus/Hilliard, OH is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture, drive sales results, and deliver engaging customer experiences across front-end and service operations.

The role emphasizes coaching, KPI achievement, and day-to-day execution of SOPs, with responsibilities spanning POS, loyalty programs, omni-channel services, and in-store events. Nights, weekends, and early mornings are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Proven ability to coach and develop a team.
• Experience operating POS and Self-Checkout systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
• Ensure execution of policies, store conditions, and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and selling behaviors to drive conversions.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout accuracy and customer support.
• Oversee in-store programs and events (Balloons, Knit & Sew Shop, etc.).
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention and repeat visits.
• Drive protection plans adoption and Extend services where applicable.
• Ensure efficient BOPIS and Same Day Delivery execution.
• Support Custom Framing operations and frame shop coordination.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Maintain Asset Protection to reduce shrink.
