The Michaels Companies, Inc. in Concord, NC is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture, drive sales results, and deliver an engaging customer experience across front-end and service operations.

You will coach teams, ensure SOPs, support POS and checkout processes, promote the Loyalty Rewards Program, and enable omni-channel services such as BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Oversee front-end and service operations.
• Drive sales and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure policy and standards execution and accountability.
• Coach customer experience and selling behaviors to improve conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations for smooth transactions.
• Oversee in-store programs and events (Balloons, parties, etc.).
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention and visits.
• Drive omni-channel services including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Support Custom Framing operations where applicable.
• Train and develop team through onboarding and ongoing skills.
